What material to use in preparation for the Alcohol Passport test?

Have you decided to get an Alcohol Passport, but don't know how to prepare for the upcoming Alcohol Passport test? Don't worry! In this blog post, we've compiled all the ways you can prepare for the test and pass it on the first attempt!

1. The most important material to familiarize yourself with is the publication "Serving of alcoholic beverages on licensed premises", a booklet published by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, or Valvira for short. All questions for the Alcohol Passport are based on the information in this publication.

• The material is available electronically on the Valvira website and can be downloaded for free. You can read it here.

• You need to read only the first three chapters of the publication, which are (1) serving activities, (2) marketing of alcoholic beverages in restaurants and (3) supervision and sanctions. The fourth and final chapter is outside the scope of the test.

2. Another handy tool is the Trainify.fi service, where you can test your knowledge and hone your skills.

• The Trainify.fi service is an excellent resource for obtaining an Alcohol Passport, as it offers the possibility to practice with similar type of questions as in the official test itself. With Trainify.fi, you can test your knowledge and learn more with each question. In this way, you can improve your final performance on the official test
